Back office Intern -- Sevilla office
About Us:
We are a charming and intimate boutique hotel nestled in Zahara de la Sierra in the heart of the Sierra de Cadiz, Spain. Our hotel offers guests a unique, personalized experience, combining exceptional service with the warmth and elegance of traditional Andalusian hospitality. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Back Office Intern to join our team and assist with the smooth operations of the hotel's administrative and support functions.
Position Overview:
As a Back Office Intern, you will support the hotel’s administrative team in various tasks, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the hotel. You will gain valuable experience in hospitality management, accounting, customer service, and office administration while working in a collaborative, hands-on environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with managing reservations and booking systems.

Handle and update guest records, ensuring data accuracy and privacy.

Support the preparation of financial reports, invoices, and receipts.

Manage administrative tasks, including filing, document organization, and correspondence.

Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies.

Help maintain accurate records for daily hotel operations.

Assist in processing guest feedback, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues as needed.

Support the team with general office tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Provide occasional support for the front office during peak times or special events.
Skills and Qualifications:

Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant field (e.g., Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus.

A proactive, flexible attitude and a desire to learn.

An interest in hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
