Back office Intern -- Sevilla office

About Us:

We are a charming and intimate boutique hotel nestled in Zahara de la Sierra in the heart of the Sierra de Cadiz, Spain. Our hotel offers guests a unique, personalized experience, combining exceptional service with the warmth and elegance of traditional Andalusian hospitality. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Back Office Intern to join our team and assist with the smooth operations of the hotel's administrative and support functions.

 

Position Overview:

As a Back Office Intern, you will support the hotel’s administrative team in various tasks, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of the hotel. You will gain valuable experience in hospitality management, accounting, customer service, and office administration while working in a collaborative, hands-on environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with managing reservations and booking systems.

  • Handle and update guest records, ensuring data accuracy and privacy.

  • Support the preparation of financial reports, invoices, and receipts.

  • Manage administrative tasks, including filing, document organization, and correspondence.

  • Assist with inventory control and ordering supplies.

  • Help maintain accurate records for daily hotel operations.

  • Assist in processing guest feedback, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues as needed.

  • Support the team with general office tasks to ensure smooth operations.

  • Provide occasional support for the front office during peak times or special events.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant field (e.g., Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism).

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus.

  • A proactive, flexible attitude and a desire to learn.

  • An interest in hospitality and providing excellent customer service.
